Oui Export supported 13 Tunisian SMEs in the date and sun-dried tomato industries during the SIAL Paris 2024 trade fair. A full B2B matchmaking program was designed and executed, including buyer targeting, online training, promotional tools, and on-site coordination. The mission aimed to generate real commercial leads in Europe through structured business engagement.

While Tunisian companies in the date derivative and sun-dried tomato sectors demonstrate strong production capabilities and product quality, they struggle to generate direct commercial impact at international trade fairs. Their participation often lacks targeted matchmaking, market-fit buyer outreach, and the preparation needed to convert visibility into real business leads.

  • Identify and attract qualified European buyers in a highly competitive food ingredients market.

  • Support 13 companies with very different maturity levels and commercial readiness.

  • Ensure results under strict time constraints and during a crowded trade show with thousands of exhibitors.

We Made

  • Created tailored promotional booklets in English for both sectors (dates & tomatoes)

  • Delivered an online training session for all participants on “How to pitch your product effectively in international B2B meetings”

  • Built a customized database of international buyers and French importers in the relevant sectors

  • Secured over 20 qualified meetings in advance, and organized several spontaneous ones during the fair

  • Provided on-site assistance to companies throughout the event (briefings, support during meetings, outbound visits)
