A Roadmap for Smarter Export Growth
Introduction
Oui Export is proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive market study on the export potential of Tunisian fruits, commissioned and officially validated by the Interprofessional Fruit Group (GIFRUIT).
This major project, led over several months, aimed to support Tunisia’s fruit sector by identifying high-potential export markets and helping shape a dual strategy: reinforcing our presence in traditional destinations while exploring promising new ones.
What did the study cover?
The analysis spanned 10 fruit categories, including peaches, apricots, pomegranates, oranges, melons, watermelons, table grapes, strawberries, almonds, and prickly pears.
For each product, we explored:
-
Global and Tunisian production dynamics
-
Tunisia’s export trends and positioning
-
Competitive benchmarking by product and market
-
Import trends across 12 international destinations
-
Cost structure, logistical access, and regulatory frameworks
-
SWOT analyses and market prioritization
A dual strategy: traditional & emerging markets
Based on the data collected and the insights gathered, Oui Export proposed:
-
A communication and promotion strategy targeting key traditional markets (mainly in Europe) to consolidate Tunisia’s position,
-
And a market development plan tailored for new, high-growth-potential countries, previously underexploited.
Each recommendation was designed to align with real-world constraints and opportunities, making the study not just theoretical — but directly applicable.
